A rigger is responsible for moving extra-heavy equipment, machinery, and materials that are impossible to be moved through conventional methods. A rigger makes use of cranes and lifts to help transport heavy equipment, machinery, or large heavy cargo such as manufacturing equipment or construction machinery.
A boilermaker is a tradesman that manufactures, installs, and maintains boilers, tanks, and closed vats. Boilers heat the liquid, usually water, that is used to generate electric power or provide heat to buildings, factories, or ships. Tanks and vats are storage containers that hold chemicals, oil, and other liquids.
Welders create or repair metal products or goods by using heat to fuse multiple metals, such as brass or stainless steel. Depending on what metals they’re cutting and joining, welders may use a variety of different welding tools and equipment.
The painter is required to do the following:
Preparing painting surfaces by washing walls and or floors, repairing holes, or removing old paint. Mixing, matching, and applying paints and other finishes to various surfaces. Providing decorative and faux finishes as the project requires. Handling planning and prep work in an efficient manner.
The Semi Skilled Laborer is expected to perform a wide variety of semi skilled and unskilled tasks related to construction and maintenance such as painting, sanitation, construction and maintenance in the required sites.
